On June 3, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 players will finally be able to experience Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. A demo of the RPG is available for download on these platforms.
Of course, many fans are eagerly awaiting the third and final installment of the trilogy. Naoki Hamaguchi, the director of the series, was asked about this during an interview with ComicBook.com.
While we unfortunately didn’t learn anything specific about the game, Hamaguchi reassured the community by stating once again that production is progressing at a satisfactory pace. He clarified that development « is proceeding as planned » and that the title « will live up to the trilogy ».
« Unfortunately, I can’t share any specific details at this time. What I can say is that development is proceeding as planned. We are confident that this title will live up to the trilogy and that we will be able to release it with confidence. We know many fans are eagerly awaiting it, and preparations for the announcement are moving along quickly. Just a little more patience! »
