Yet another game is set to be shut down this year. FINAL FANTASY VII EVER CRISIS came out back in September 2023 on mobile, then three months later on PC (via Steam), and is already bowing out.
The game, which lets players relive the best moments from the compilation of the seventh entry in the franchise, will see its services discontinued at 7 a.m. BST on October 7, 2026. Starting this week, it will no longer be possible to download the game on Steam. Those who already have installed it aren’t affected. Also, sales of the red crystals (the premium currency of the games) have been suspended too.
Until the game is discontinued, Square Enix plans to release three new chapters, events, and extra content.
