Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles gets great scores

In less than a week, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, Switch 2, and PC. So, starting September 30, players will have the chance to discover the remake of Square Enix’s incredible tactical RPG.

In the meantime, the specialist press has given this new version an extremely warm welcome. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles has achieved an average Metacritic score of 88% on PS5 (51 reviews), 87% on Switch 2 (7 reviews) and 90% on PC (5 reviews). The OpenCritic score is currently set at 88% (32 reviews).

In terms of its strengths, we can note the gameplay, which is as deep as ever, a fascinating universe, a gripping storyline, and high-quality voice acting. Our only regrets are the camera, which is still as imprecise as ever, and the absence of the content that was added for the PSP remake.
