After a year and a half in early access development and four content updates, Lucky Tower Ultimate now has a release date.
April 16th, 2026, is the magic number for the full release of Lucky Tower Ultimate with a price point of $20.56 CAD. The game is coming to Steam, Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch, with the Nintendo Switch being able to lay claim as the first console on which it will be released on.Â

According to the press release, it is an “absurd roguelike with slapstick humor and a hand-drawn aesthetic where no two journeys are ever the same.” The main goal is to defeat the evil mastermind of the tower, Evelius, as you play as the knight Von Wanst. When you do perish in the tower, you go back to the local village, and that’s where the run progression carries into permanent upgrades and the like.Â
Back in the early access days, Lucky Tower Ultimate had the aforementioned four content updates, which all added new gameplay. The first of which was a cave that leads out of the tower itself, with the next one being the new companion of a princess who initially starts off as hostile but can be convinced to join the party. There were also a ton of addition sto the basic mechanics like armor, weapons, hairstyles, traps, items, plus some more enemies and quests as a bonus.Â

“We’re so excited for Lucky Tower Ultimate to be leaving Early Access and launching into 1.0,” said co-designer and lead artist of the Lucky Tower series, Anselm Pyta. “We wish our players the best of luck defeating Evelius and destroying the tower, we couldn’t have made the game as hard and as ridiculous as it is without them.”Â
