Fallout New Vegas Sees Cooper Howard and Lucy MacLean Arrive in Game

Fallout fans can now enjoy a wide variety of content based on the Amazon series in New Vegas, thanks to mods.

The Fallout series is ripe with fresh mods and fan-made expansions to deck out the game’s already large roster of content, and the community shows no signs of slowing down in that regard.

With the revelation that Fallout’s second season on Amazon Prime Video would be heading to New Vegas as its primary setting, fans have been slowly adding content from the TV show as mods into the game.

New Fallout: New Vegas Mods Add TV Show Content

Take this mod for instance, which adds Cooper Howard’s armour, duster and hat. It also adds his iconic revolver to use as a weapon. Combine it with a mod that lets you play as a ghoul, like this one, and you have a recipe for a brand new character to roleplay as.

The mod also features Lucy’s vault outfit to wear as well, in case you wanted to roleplay as her. Given that her character is more “Fallout protagonist coded” than the others, it’s a great fit for New Vegas’ gameplay.

There are other mods which add Fallout TV content to New Vegas, such as this one that adds Maximus as an NPC. You can use it with the T-60 Power Armour mod to create a bigger Brotherhood of Steel presence in the Nevada wasteland.

I also found a mod which adds Rafi Silver’s Mr. House to the game, replacing the default Mr. House screen.

Silver played Mr. House in a small appearance during the first season.

However, House will be played in Season 2 by Justin Theroux, so I’m willing to bet that there’ll be a mod adding him to the game at some point following the second season’s premiere on 17 December.

I’d imagine as the second season goes on, we’ll start seeing more mods coming out that are based on the characters, locations, and equipment seen in the Fallout TV series.

And with New Vegas expected to be the main setting for the entirety of the show’s second season, there’ll probably be many references and imagery from the game seen in the show.

We have already been teased this via some shots in the trailer which show Caesar’s Legion, the NCR, and Robert House all seemingly still present in the Nevada wasteland, seemingly rejecting the idea of one ending being canon.
