It has been 10 years since Fallout 4 first launched globally for consoles and PC. To celebrate, Bethesda has announced an Anniversary Edition that brings everything from Vault 11 together in one place.
Fallout 4 is returning to consoles and PC on the eve of its 10th anniversary. The release will include the base game, six official add-ons and more than 150 pieces of Creation Club content in a single package. For the first time in the Commonwealth, Bethesda will also be introducing Creations to the wasteland.
Bethesda Creations—evolved from the Creation Club—is a platform that combines free and paid mod content for Bethesda’s games, accessible through an in-game interface. Other Bethesda titles, such as Starfield, have used this functionality to let fans and creators develop their own quests and expand the game. A trailer for Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition has also been released and can be viewed below.
Bethesda calls the Anniversary Edition “the complete Fallout 4 experience,” and it will include the six official DLC add-ons: Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and the released Workshop expansions to give returning and new players all of the official (and fan-made) Fallout 4 content in one spot. On top of Bethesda Creations and the official DLC, this Anniversary Edition bundles over 150 pieces of Creation Club content into the release as well. This means fans can snag exciting new weapons, download and play new quests, and even change what breed the canine companion Dogmeat can be in-game.
The Anniversary Edition release is happening over a month before December 17, which is the official release date of Prime Video’s Fallout second season. Bethesda may have wanted to give fans a little extra time to dig into everything Fallout 4 ahead of watching the show. That’s not all, Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will also be released for the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2026, letting Nintendo celebrate the 10-year anniversary as well.
The Anniversary Edition will be available digitally on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PS4, and PS5 on November 10 (and on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026).
