Fable release date won’t be delayed for GTA 6, Playground Games devs say

We’re just four months into 2026, but the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6on Nov. 19 is already casting a long shadow over the video game release calendar in the latter months of the year. Understandably, few developers are eager to release their projects anywhere near GTA 6, which is one of the most anticipated games of all time. In an X post on April 13, the team at Playground Games seemingly swatted aside recent rumors that the game had been delayed.
