This year’s Xbox Developer_Direct ended with an in-depth presentation of Fable. Playground Games’ first-ever open-world RPG will release on Xbox Series, PS5, and PC next fall.
For the first time in the series’ history, we will be able to freely explore Albion. Our choices and actions will have consequences on our relationships with NPCs, but also on the world around us. The franchise’s humor will make a comeback, as will the ability to take on odd jobs, get married, and even have children.
Of course, our protagonist’s appearance will be customizable. The landscapes in Fable also look set to be stunning. We can see several of them in the trailer that has just been released online.
