In 2005, Santa Monica introduced the world to Kratos, an angry Spartan who seeks vengeance against the Greek gods, a journey that involves a lot of bloodshed. The best God of War games from the original run are among the greatest action releases of all time, and then the series managed to reinvent itself in 2018, entering a new era that will hopefully extend into the future.
