EA Sports FC 26 has officially entered advanced access for Deluxe Edition owners with EA Play subscribers getting a ten hour trial. Unfortunately, there are some issues, which could explain the “Mixed” rating from currently 1622 user reviews.
Electronic Arts confirmed that bugs preventing players from entering the game and connecting them to sub-optimal data centers, resulting in lag, were resolved fairly quickly. However, it’s currently investigating issues such as controller inputs occasionally not registering or dropping completely in matches, PC optimization and stability woes, and more.
Those missing pre-order content or Season Pass access are advised to shut down and relaunch the game while connected online. Stay tuned for updates and patches in the meantime.
EA Sports FC 26 launches for Standard Edition owners on September 26th for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Check out our feature for everything you should know before playing.
