Yet another game published by Microsoft will soon get its PS5 Pro enhancements. It’s DOOM: The Dark Ages, which has been available since May 2025.
On Sony’s console, id Software’s FPS will receive a free update on July 7 to support the new version of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR). Distant enemies and the outlines of the environment will become sharper. Surface textures will also benefit from improved definition.
In short, the entire visual experience will be enhanced. The rendering will be sharper and more stable, while preserving the game’s highly polished graphics.
