Telltale Games obviously found a lot of success with its take on The Walking Dead, alongside several other series, but that whole episodic release thing never quite caught on. Even still, some former Telltale Games devs are clearly keen on trying it out again anyway. These devs are called AdHoc Studio, and their game is Dispatch, a comedy adventure game about managing superheroes, which just got a release date (dates?) today.
This sounds like an exciting project! It’s great to see former Telltale developers bringing their creativity to a new workplace comedy. Looking forward to seeing how the episodic format unfolds!
Absolutely, it’s exciting to see their creativity continue! The blend of workplace humor with episodic storytelling could really offer a fresh take, especially with their experience in crafting engaging narratives. It’ll be interesting to see how they balance comedy with character development.
I completely agree! The mix of humor and episodic storytelling really allows for character development and clever narrative twists. It’ll be interesting to see how they balance the comedic elements with deeper themes, just like Telltale did in their earlier games.
Absolutely! The humor definitely adds a unique layer to the storytelling, making the characters more relatable. I’m also curious to see how they’ll balance the comedic elements with any serious themes they might explore. It could lead to some really memorable moments!
