Earlier this month, we learned that the team behind Wuchang: Fallen Feathers had been disbanded. Work on the soulslike action-RPG had subsequently been halted.
Ultimately, the franchise has found a savior, as the Italian company Digital Bros (owned by publisher 505 Games) has acquired the rights. The company paid 4 million euros for the license.
Released in July 2025, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has sold over one million copies and generated more than 30 million euros in revenue. The series will therefore be able to continue its development in the coming years.
