Here comes a new indie studio based in Canada. It’s called Studio Reset, and its teams feature true veterans of the video game industry.
Kaelin Lavallée serves as creative director at the new studio, Francis Lacuna is art director, and Kris Schoneberg is design director. The trio met at BioWare, where they contributed their expertise to Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mass Effect, and Anthem.
Lavallée released a brief statement outlining his vision for the studio.
“We want to create original worlds with focus, determination, and a team that stays close to the work, the creative vision, and the players for whom we’re designing them.”
Studio Reset is currently working on “a neon-noir supernatural mystery game set in a stylized Canadian cityscape”.
