Death Stranding Mosquito Anime Film Announced

Death Stranding Mosquito Anime Film Announced

After confirming that Death Stranding would receive an anime adaptation earlier this year, director Hideo Kojima revealed the first trailer for Death Stranding Mosquito (working title). Check it out below.

It showcases a new character, who can suck something (their words, not mine), and seems to be a Repatriate like Sam Porter Bridges. He also gets into a big fist fight with the latter to seemingly protect some pet-like B.T. How does this slot into the overall Death Stranding lore? Time will tell, but it could very well be a side-story.

Written by Aaron Guzikowski (Prisoners, Contraband) and directed by Hiroshi Miyamoto of ABC Animation Studio (Pretty Cure), the animation relies on pencil-like details and layers to create a rough image. Interestingly, the teaser trailer represents early footage, so stay tuned for potential updates.
