Dead Space 4 Could Happen Under New EA Ownership, Series Creator “Making Calls” – IGN Daily Fix

In today’s Daily Fix:Dead Space’s original co-creator wants another crack at the franchise. Glen Schofield, who worked on the original Dead Space, thinks it’s possible a new entry in the series could happen in light of the industry-shaking EA buyout. In fact, according to Schofield, he’s already been making calls to try and make a fourth Dead Space happen. In other news, Quantic Dream has announced a new 3v3 multiplayer game called Spellcasters Chroncles. Quantic Dream is mainly known for single-player narratives like Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain. They also have Star Wars Eclipse still in development, although it’s been years since they’ve shown off anything from that game. And finally, legendary and controversial game designer Tomonobu Itagaki has passed away at age 58. He left a final message on his Facebook page, which was posted in the event of his death. Itagaki was behind the Ninja Gaiden revival in 2004 and the fighting game franchise Dead or Alive. His last game as a director was Devil’s Third for the Nintendo Wii U.
