Just before its launch on March 19, we’ve learned a little more about the content included in Crimson Desert. In particular, we have learned that the open-world action-adventure game will have a single difficulty mode.
Now, Will Power, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Pearl Abyss, has clarified the situation regarding microtransactions. Quite simply, since Crimson Desert is a premium game sold for β¬70, no microtransactions will be included through a “cosmetic store”.
“This is made to be a premium experience that you buy, and you enjoy the world and not something for microtransactions. This is a premium experience, that is the transaction, full stop.”

It’s great to hear that Crimson Desert won’t include microtransactions! This could really enhance the gaming experience for players. Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together at launch!
