It is with a sense of sadness and nostalgia that we learn Counter-Strike Nexon will shut down at the end of September 2026.
The dev team has posted a statement on the matter on Steam earlier today. They extend their heartfelt thanks to players for this 12-year journey, which began with the game’s release on October 7, 2014, and provide details regarding the closure of the game and its DLCs.
As a result, it will no longer be possible to purchase DLC starting June 24, until the game closes in three months. More information will be available soon.
