Nintendo fans have gone from really hyped to really disappointed. This week, the manufacturer revealed a video titled Close to You that seemed to have something to do with the Pikmin franchise.
In the end, the brand confirmed that both versions of the video were produced by Nintendo Pictures Co., Ltd. The Japanese company added that it “will continue to explore new creative possibilities through video content”.
Thus, Close to You has nothing to do with a new Pikmin title.
