Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 wins its first GOTY

After four editions held in Singapore, Gamescom Asia moved to Bangkok, Thailand. The 2025 edition took place from October 16 to 19 and has already tackled the daunting task of rewarding the best games of the year.

The closing ceremony of Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Awards named Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 β€œGame of the Year.” The title from Sandfall Interactive also won the awards for Best RPG, Best PC/Console Game, and Popular Vote.
