Sandfall Interactive has announced that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, its breakout turn-based role-playing hit, will receive an update with significant new content. Though it didn’t announce a release window, the update includes a new “playable environment” with fresh enemy encounters and “surprises.” Of course, you can also expect new bosses for those in the late game.
Alongside new outfits for each Expedition member, there will be additional localization support, allowing one to play in Indonesian, Ukrainian, Latin American Spanish, Turkish, and more. Interestingly, the developer teased even “more to come,” so it should be interesting to see what else is in store.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC alongside Game Pass. It was released earlier this year to extensive acclaim – check out our review here, where we praised the combat, characters, and storytelling. As such, it’s already a popular pick for awards season and leads nominations in the Golden Joystick Awards. Head here for more details.
