Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the most nominated game in the history of The Game Awards

We now know all the games nominated for The Game Awards 2025. The ceremony will take place on the night of December 11-12 and will reward the best titles released over the past year.

For the 2025 edition, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the big favorite with no fewer than 12 nominations, including one for the ultimate Game of the Year award. Sandfall Interactive’s production now has the most nominations in the history of The Game Awards.

Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei have seven each, Hades II has six, Hollow Knight: Silksong has five, and Split Fiction has four.

On the publisher side, Sony Interactive Entertainment leads with 19 nominations. Kepler Interactive (Clair Obscur, Rematch) has 13. Microsoft and Electronic Arts have 10 each, SEGA has seven, Supergiant Games (Hades II) has six, and Team Cherry (Hollow Knight: Silksong) has five.
