Cerulean Onslaught is rumored to be FromSoftware’s next single-player game and could be revealed in June

Since the release of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon in 2023, FromSoftware has shifted its focus toward multiplayer. Elden Ring Nightreign is a co-op experience, and The Duskbloods, set to release this year on Switch 2, will also be played online.

Fans of Souls-like games are therefore eagerly awaiting the Japanese studio’s next single-player experience. According to rumors circulating on 4chan, this much-anticipated upcoming single-player game is reportedly titled Cerulean Onslaught. The buzz suggests a presentation at Summer Game Fest on June 5, 2026. It is said to be an action-RPG set in a dark universe that takes players across an ocean to explore islands. The ship would serve as a base.

Of course, it’s very important to take this information with a grain of salt. Especially since it’s stated that the game would be released as early as August, before The Duskbloods. That timing would leave almost no room for a marketing campaign worthy of that name.
