Capcom is releasing three Resident Evil games for the Switch 2 at the same time to attract new fans

Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil VII, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem will all be released simultaneously on Switch 2 on February 27, 2026. This decision may have come as a surprise, but the studio explained the reasoning behind it.

According to producer Masato Kumazawa, this bundled release aims to offer more freedom to newcomers. Players will be able to either explore the series in greater depth with three installments, or dive right into Requiem, the latest one.
