CAPCOM successfully misled Summer Game Fest 2026 viewers for the first minute or so of the Resident Evil Veronica trailer, which was in first-person view and didn’t seem at all like the long-awaited Code Veronica remake. Given that Resident Evil Requiem introduced the option to choose between first-person and third-person, though, fans started wondering if this would be possible in Veronica as well.
