It’s been over two years since Blue Eye Samuraifirst arrived on Netflix, combining stunning animation with visceral violence to become a runaway hit. We’ve been waiting for season 2 ever since. A brief teaser released last summer announcing the start of production featured a flashback showing our protagonist, Mizu (Maya Erskine), leading a peasant rebellion.
