Since its initial release in August 2019, World of Warcraft Classic has been at the center of numerous rumors. Among the most persistent is the one dubbed « WoW Classic Plus » by the community.
This term refers to a project that preserves the mechanics of the original game while adding entirely new content, rather than simply re-releasing subsequent expansions. While nothing has been officially revealed, Blizzard has occasionally hinted at a similar ambition through documents and some of its statements.
Now, the American company appears to be preparing something very significant. Several World of Warcraft Classic streamers were recently invited to Blizzard’s offices. The player Xaryu confirmed the news during a Twitch stream. He naturally stated that he is not authorized to discuss what he is about to see.
Since Blizzard has never organized such a gathering for World of Warcraft Classic, we can likely expect a major announcement. It could be about « WoW Classic Plus » or something else entirely.
