Apogee Entertainment and Infogrames announced a brand-new update for their retro-style first-person shooter, Wizordum. Available to download on PS5 right now, this latest update adds over 100 pieces of new content for the beloved shooter for free.
What is the Wizordum PS5 update?
The new Wizordum update brings community-created adventures to consoles. Previously only available to PC players, this brings over 100 custom levels to the boomer shooter. This includes maps inspired by some of the most iconic and influential shooters, like Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, and Blake Stone. Players can discover, play, and rate this new free content using the new User Adventure Browser.
Wizordum left Early Access with its 1.0 update for PC back in April 2025. In September, it was then brought to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Mac. Since its launch, it has received solid review scores. According to review score aggregate site Opencritic, it garnered a “Top Critic Average” of 84. Players seem to share the same sentiment, as Steam user reviews are “Very Positive” and the global player ratings on the PS Store average 4.84 stars.
