Battlefield 6 will only feature crossplay between console players

In a recent interview, Technical Director Christian Buhl and Console Combat Designer Matthew Nickerson discussed the crossplay feature in Battlefield 6.

During matchmaking, console players will be prioritized with other PS5 and Xbox Series users. PC players will only be added to the lobby if necessary to fill the remaining slots. Crossplay will be enabled by default and can, of course, be disabled at any time.

Once disabled, console players will be grouped exclusively with each other. PC players will not be able to join the lobby in question.
