The Career Rank leveling system in Battlefield 6 is currently unbalanced for most ordinary players with limited daily playtime, requiring an absurdly long time to rank up and acquire all the weapons, which themselves have to then be leveled up as well. Even so, there are some methods that can be used to farm kills and XP in the game even with average player skill.
This Battlefield 6 guide is all about how to quickly and efficiently grind experience in order to raise Career Rank up fast.
Community Custom Experiences
The browse server function under Community -> Experience Search, is where you can tailor your multiplayer gameplay experience to make the best use of your time. Here you can find servers outside of the default matchmaking rotation, including custom maps made with the Portal SDK.
Make sure that a given server indicates that full XP will be earned and that challenges will be tracked, or else your efforts will be wasted. This is denoted by the tag โ Official Rulesโ.
The ideal server setup will be small to medium sized maps for fast captures, and with a maximum possible ticket count so that matches donโt end too quickly. A higher bot count will help with scaling difficulty, making it a much easier process for you to farm kills, though the bots will eventually get swapped out for real players. It might help to avoid playing during peak hours if you prefer more bots versus human opponents.
Steer clear of servers that blatantly claim to be XP farms in their titling, as these could be considered boosting which is against EAโs official terms of service, and thus a bannable offense.
Career XP Boosters
You may have been rewarded timed XP boosters, including a handful for Battlefield 6 launch hiccups. Be sure to deploy these when you have found a good opportunity to maximize their limited time bonus to any earned XP for best effect.
Bear in mind that these tokens are constantly ticking down in real time, even when you are not actively in a match. Therefore, you should only activate them once the match has begun, and ideally it will be a long match with an extended ticket count so you donโt lose any precious token time to menus between matches. Boosters also stack, and you would do well to double up on these while attempting Challenges that are on the cusp of completion.
There are also XP modifiers for simply owning the game (5%), as well as for being in a Party. An additional XP modifier will be activated if 2 or more Party members are PlayStation Plus subscribers, which is apparently also applicable in crossplay scenarios.
Mode Selection
Certain game modes are better suited for tightening the combat zones, thus sparing you the need to run around looking for engagements. Breakthrough, Conquest, and Domination will always be the best for this, as you can expect most of the fighting to be around frontline flags and at chokepoints between flags. Among those three modes, Conquest will give you some breathing room if you are getting mobbed, as the flags are more spread out.
Play The Objective
Battlefield 6 is a team game, and consequently you will be rewarded for being a team player, while being punished for not. Capturing enemy flags, defending allied flags, resupplying and reviving teammates are among actions that earn you XP aside for the mindless running and gunning.
Hovering on the edges of the map in a helicopter, or up on rooftops with a sniper rifle in hand, and picking off random targets will earn you nothing more than the XP for the kills themselves. On the other hand, being within a given capture zone while racking up kills will earn you XP multipliers for actively playing the objective.
Excelling at particular tasks even among your own teammates can earn you recognition and individualized bonuses at the end of the match as well, regardless of a win or lose outcome.
Play Your Class
The open weapon selection system is a change from the standard Battlefield formula, and it can be tempting to do whatever you feel like despite your class. However, if you play to the strengths of your class instead, you will earn far more XP, while simultaneously contributing much more to your teamโs overall effort. Therefore, Assaults must actively engage in objectives such as capturing flags, Supports must resupply and revive, Engineers must repair allied vehicles while neutralizing enemy vehicles, and Recons must provide enemy reconnaissance as implied by their class title.
Dailies And Weeklies
These rotating challenges offer you major XP bonuses upon completion of relatively reasonable objectives. Just check in each day and you should be able to grind out the dailies easily, while continuing to contribute to the longer term completion of weeklies.
Assignment Challenges
These are one-time offerings of XP for completion of a variety of objectives, such as playing a certain number of matches across a selection of modes. It might help to time the use of XP boosters in order to coincide with completion of challenges for maximum benefit.
Bear in mind that many of these assignments are rank-locked, as indicated by the red status of their entry. You will have to achieve the Career Rank indicated on the right side of the banner before they will begin tracking in the way that normal assignments do.
Those are all the tips and tricks you can use to quickly earn XP and rapidly raise your Career Rank in Battlefield 6.
