Battlefield 6 Estimated to Have Sold Over 6.5 Million Units – Report

Battlefield 6 debuted with a bang last week, topping nearly 750,000 peak concurrent players on Steam alone. While Electronic Arts hasn’t shared official figures, Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics estimates more than 6.5 million units sold and over $350 million in revenue.

Steam allegedly contributed the most, accounting for over 3.5 million units (56.7 percent) and more than $220 million in revenue, which makes sense given estimates of over 1.8 million pre-orders before release. This was followed by PS5 with more than 1.5 million copies sold (23.7 percent) and Xbox Series X/S at over 1.2 million (19.6 percent).

As for daily active users, Steam is allegedly on top, averaging 2.3 to 2.5 million daily, followed by around a million on PS5. While it remains to be seen how EA will address criticisms and how the new content pans out – especially with Season 1 going live on October 28th – Battlefield 6 is off to a strong start thus far.
