Battlefield 6 Estimated to Have Sold Over 6.5 Million Units โ€“ Report

Battlefield 6 debuted with a bang last week, topping nearly 750,000 peak concurrent players on Steam alone. While Electronic Arts hasnโ€™t shared official figures, Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics estimates more than 6.5 million units sold and over $350 million in revenue.

Steam allegedly contributed the most, accounting for over 3.5 million units (56.7 percent) and more than $220 million in revenue, which makes sense given estimates of over 1.8 million pre-orders before release. This was followed by PS5 with more than 1.5 million copies sold (23.7 percent) and Xbox Series X/S at over 1.2 million (19.6 percent).

As for daily active users, Steam is allegedly on top, averaging 2.3 to 2.5 million daily, followed by around a million on PS5. While it remains to be seen how EA will address criticisms and how the new content pans out โ€“ especially with Season 1 going live on October 28th โ€“ Battlefield 6 is off to a strong start thus far. Check out our review for more details on the shooter.
