Bandai Namco’s strategy for Tales remasters misses the point

Less than one month after the release of Tales of Xillia Remastered, Bandai Namco has announced that Tales of Berseria Remastered is going to hit Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC on Feb. 27, 2026. While Bandai Namco has been working seriously on its ongoing Remastered Project β€” which is great, don’t get me wrong β€” choosing Berseria feels like a missed opportunity to focus on what matters.
