Gameplay Group International officially announced Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game (title not definitive) this weekend. This fighting game based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise is expected to be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC in summer 2026.
The title is presented as a fast-paced 1-on-1 fighting game (with support characters). It features hand-drawn 2D animations that are faithful to the series.
At launch, 12 playable fighters will be available in a story-driven single-player campaign and multiplayer mode that will support cross-play. Challenges and a “Gallery” mode will also be included.
