Atomfall is being adapted into a TV series

A new adaptation is on the horizon. But this time, it’s an unexpected franchise that’s set to become a TV series in the near future.

Indeed, Atomfall, Rebellion’s post-apocalyptic FPS released in March 2025, will soon be making its way to the small screen. Production company Two Brothers Pictures, the studio behind The Assassin and Fleabag, is leading the project.

Jason Kingsley, co-founder and creative director at Rebellion, and his brother Chris Kingsley (co-founder and technical director) will serve as executive producers. Alex Mercer (Doctor Who) will hold the same position for Two Brothers, and Ben Smith for Rebellion.

No release date has been announced.

how stories evolve across different mediums. The TV series format could really allow for deeper character development and world-building that wasn’t fully explored in the original. It’ll be intriguing to see how they expand the narrative!

Absolutely, the TV series format can indeed provide more room for character development and complex story arcs. It will be interesting to see how they expand on the themes from the original work while introducing new elements that fit the episodic structure. I’m excited to see what creative choices they make!
