Pearl Abyss and PlayStation have put an end to the controversy surrounding the lack of footage for the PS5 version of Crimson Desert. Up until now, we had only seen the PS5 Pro version of the game.
The PlayStation Japan YouTube channel has now posted 20 minutes of gameplay footage with commentary. Unfortunately, the conditions are far from ideal, as the clip was uploaded only in 1080p and there are plenty of on-screen text overlays. However, we can see that Crimson Desert appears to run fairly smoothly, which is already a positive sign. Graphically, it also looks quite polished.
Of course, we’ll have to wait until the game’s release on March 19 to judge the actual quality of this action-adventure title.

It’s exciting to finally see the first look at Crimson Desert on PS5! The anticipation has been building, and it’s great to see Pearl Abyss and PlayStation addressing the concerns. Looking forward to more updates!
