ASUS presents a RTX 5090D made of solid gold

ASUS China has shared images of the manufacturing process for the ROG Astral RTX 5090D Gold Edition, a graphics card that is unique in the world, containing approximately 5 kg of solid gold, with an estimated value of $500,000. Unveiled at Bilibili World 2025 in Shanghai, this exceptional piece will never be commercially available.

This extraordinary model was created at the request of a private collector, with the support of a content creator commissioned by ASUS. Unlike the previous โ€œDhahab Edition,โ€ which contained only 6.5 grams of gold and cost around $10,000, this version required months of craftsmanship: casting, polishing, engraving, and hand finishing.

In total, the card weighs 7.56 kg, including 5 kg of pure gold, with a design combining sandblasted surfaces, engraved cloud patterns, and enameled ROG logos.
