Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced will not feature the multiplayer or DLCs

Ubisoft won’t have much new to say about Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced on April 23. In fact, it seems almost all the key details have already been leaked ahead of the big presentation.

Once again, the Insider Gaming website is back with major details about the remake of the fourth installment in the series. The publisher apparently describes it as “a pure narrative adventure”, so we can kiss goodbye the the multiplayer mode from the original. In the 2013 release, players could participate in PvP matches where the goal was to assassinate other players. A co-op mode was also included.

Furthermore, the Freedom Cry DLC is not expected to return. Offered as a standalone title, it elevated AdewalΓ©, Edward Kenway’s second-in-command on the Jackdaw, to the role of protagonist, whose goal was to free slaves to spark a rebellion.

So, players will have to make do with the main storyline. Fortunately, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is also said to include new stories and characters.

It’s interesting to see the focus on a streamlined experience with Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced. While the absence of multiplayer and DLCs might be disappointing for some, it could allow for a more polished single-player experience. Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together!
