After the huge success of Helldivers 2, Arrowhead Game Studios isn’t wasting any time and is already working on its next game. Johan Pilestedt, creative director at the Swedish studio, recently spoke about the title currently in development.
Of course, Pilestedt didn’t want to give too much away. However, he did say that this mysterious game “won’t be very different from Helldivers,” which will allow fans to quickly find their bearings.
“It won’t be something that’s too far off from Helldivers, so all of the people that are massive Helldivers fans will be able to jump into the next game as well and recognize the DNA, at least.”
So we can potentially expect a cooperative TPS with lots of firearms. The creative director added that he wants to “continue the legacy of what we’ve created”.
