Since its release in February 2024, Helldivers 2 has welcomed plenty of updates with new content. Recently, Arrowhead Game Studios even reduced the size of the PC version to 23 GB instead of the 154 GB previously required.
Another highly anticipated new feature is set to be released soon. It was teased by Johan Pilestedt, the content manager at the Swedish studio. On X, he announced that his teams have developed a prototype for a roguelite mode. He added that this mode “changes the game fundamentally”.
