Arrowhead has no plans to do a Helldivers 3

Since its initial release in February 2024, Helldivers 2 has managed to build a large and loyal community. This was evidenced by its successful launch on Xbox Series last August. However, the devs have no plans to work on a sequel.

Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Shams Jorjani made this very clear on the game’s Discord server. For now, his team has no plans to develop Helldivers 3. The goal is to continue rolling out content for Helldivers 2 and make it a title that will stand the test of time. Jorjani even referred to a “game for eternity”, which illustrates the studio’s intentions.

He also emphasized PlayStation’s support for this strategy. As such, the announcement of a Helldivers 3 is not currently on the cards.
