Archetype Entertainment (EXODUS) president steps down ahead of the game’s release

We got to see EXODUS again at The Game Awards 2025 with a release window of early 2027. A few days after this announcement, Archetype Entertainment lost its CEO.

Hasbro confirmed James Ohlen’s departure in a statement sent to Bloomberg. Abby Hodes, vice president of corporate communications, commented on the matter. Ohlen will take on a consulting role and has “asked to refocus his creative work” on tabletop role-playing games.

“At this point, James felt that his work on the game was done and that the development and refinement were in good hands with the team.”

In addition, Paul Della Bitta, a former Blizzard employee, is taking over as head of Hasbro’s gaming division.
