Arc Raiders has only been out for a week now, but the new sci-fi extraction shooter is off to a strong start and already adding new content. The patch notes for the new update include the addition of weather conditions, a hidden bunker to discover, and a night raid for the Blue Gate map.
Developer Embark Studios revealed several game adjustments are live with the latest 1.1.0 update to Arc Raiders, but the new map conditions will arrive on Saturday, November 8. This will add dynamic weather to Arc Raiders with an electromagnetic storm that produces lightning. This weather element will affect parts of the game’s maps, making some areas more dangerous to explore. However, the developer also teases lightning strikes will leave behind curious formations, so players may want to investigate those areas.
A hidden bunker is added to give players a new area to discover and more high-tier loot opportunities. This is teased to be an underground bunker located somewhere near the outskirts of the Spaceport map.
