It seems Microsoft is in the midst of creating a new Xbox controller. This device has been revealed by Tecnoblog with some photos taken via a regulatory agency.
This highly compact controller is designed for cloud gaming. It features the buttons, joysticks, and triggers typically found on the brandโs traditional controllers.
Additionally, we can see that at least two color options (white and black) will be available. Of course, the final product could have a different design, as this one is a prototype not intended for sale.
The controller is reportedly Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 6 compatible, featuring a Realtek RTL8730E wireless chip with two ARM Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz. A USB-C port and a 500 mAh internal rechargeable battery are also listed.
As of now, it has no release date or timeframe.
