An RTX 3080 with 20 GB has been released in China for around $447

The Chinese company Fengpo is offering an RTX 3080 equipped with 20 GB of GDDR6X, twice that of the official NVIDIA configuration. Never released on the consumer market, this variant uses the original 2021 GPU mounted on a modified PCB and cooled by a PNY RTX 4090 heatsink.

Unlike models cobbled together for AI, this card is clearly intended for gamers. It even comes in its own packaging and has been tested by Chinese creator GPU Girl, who compared it to an RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, but with superior performance.

Priced at around $447 in China, this version is not approved by NVIDIA but illustrates the emergence of customized cards for gaming use.
