AMD launches the FSR 4.1 on Radeon RX 7000 GPUs

The FSR 4.1 upscaling solution is now available on graphics cards in the Radeon RX 7000 series, which marks the first time this upscaling technology has been made available on GPUs beyond the RX 9000 series.

Currently, more than 300 games are compatible with FSR 4.1. Jack Huynh, AMD’s vice president and general manager, also noted that lightweight machine learning models are being developed for RDNA 3 APUs. This will enable FSR 4.1 to be deployed on a wider range of devices.

Note that support for the Radeon RX 6000 series is expected in early 2027.
