All Safehouse Locations In Borderlands 4

All Safehouse Locations In Borderlands 4

Are you keen on finding all Safehouses in Borderlands 4? These structures dot the wastelands of Kairos, and taking control of them should be on your bucket list. That’s because of how helpful they are when it comes to exploring and navigating regions.

Where to find all Safehouses in Borderlands 4

There are over a dozen Safehouse locations in the game world. You’re going to come across a few of these while progressing through the campaign, but others require you to go off the beaten path. A few caveats also need to be mentioned:

  • To claim a Safehouse as your own, you must look for a datapad and activate the terminal.
  • Safehouses, similar to Order Silos, act as fast travel points once controlled.
  • Safehouses have vending machines and bounty boards. Unfortunately, you won’t see any devices or contraptions like Respec Machines or Transfer Machines. Those are only found in Faction Towns.

Fadefields map: Safehouse locations

The map above shows the Borderlands 4 Safehouse locations in the Fadefields region. It’s the first zone that you visit after the intro/tutorial section of the campaign.

Fadefields Safehouse #1: Abandoned Post

  • Sub-zone: Coastal Bonescape
  • Location: You can’t miss this Safehouse at all, as it’s automatically unlocked once you’ve done your initial tasks for Claptrap. Likewise, keep in mind that this is where your “alt” characters spawn upon activating Ultimate Vault Hunter mode. They might be level 30, but they have no gear and the information on the map has been reset.

Fadefields Safehouse #2: Shut-Eye Keep

  • Sub-zone: The Howl
  • Location: This Safehouse is further north of the Launchpad Faction Town. Ride the elevator to the top of the facility, then check the control room for grapple points. Latch onto those to claim the datapad.

Fadefields Safehouse #3: Someday Rise

  • Sub-zone: Idolator’s Noose
  • Location: The datapad for this Safehouse is just outside past the bluff. It’s in a small shed.

Fadefields Safehouse #4: Wyclef’s Reprieve

  • Sub-zone: Idolator’s Noose
  • Location: To unlock this Borderlands 4 Safehouse, you must grab the datapad on a crate that’s behind the building itself.

Terminus Range map: Safehouse locations

There are four more Safehouses in the Terminus Range region. Note that you can only travel to this area after completing a main quest called “A Lot to Process.”

Terminus Range Safehouse #1: Grey Havenage

  • Sub-zone: Cuspid Climb
  • Location: Tagging this Borderlands 4 Safehouse might seem a bit tricky. That’s because you need to reach the tower just across from it. Once you’re at the top, grab the datapad and glide to the upper section of the structure.

Terminus Range Safehouse #2: Heritage Opus

  • Sub-zone: Cuspid Climb
  • Location: This Safehouse is actually near the peak of a mountain that the Rippers have turned into a base. The hostiles here are level 15 or higher (if you’re playing on normal difficulty). You can try to rush past them just to reach the datapad and the control terminal.

Terminus Range Safehouse #3:

  • Sub-zone: Windspear
  • Location: This Safehouse is fairly close to the Umbral Foundry, the Fortress of the Vile Lictor in the Terminus Range arc. Your goal is to look for a cavernous opening at the base of the mountain. Then, grapple and climb to get the datapad. The door to the interior of the structure should open soon enough.

Terminus Range Safehouse #4: Snowy Wells

  • Sub-zone: Stoneblood Forest
  • Location: The datapad is on a structure opposite the Safehouse itself. You need to reach the roof of the Safehouse, then grapple onto the water tank. This allows you to glide to the other structure to obtain the item.

Carcadia Burn map: Safehouse locations

Carcadia Burn has three additional Safehouses for you to take control of. They are in the Lopside, Tonnage Peel, and Ruined Sumplands.

Carcadia Burn Safehouse #1: Makeshift Chalet

  • Sub-zone: Lopside
  • Location: Travel along the highway from Fadefields. You should see the Safehouse to your left. The datapad is on a crate at the back, almost at the cliff’s edge.

Carcadia Burn Safehouse #2: The Lowrise

  • Sub-zone: Tonnage Peel
  • Location: This is yet another Borderlands 4 Safehouse location that’s crawling with enemies. You can choose to fight them or avoid them entirely. Either way, you still need to get the datapad. It’s on a broken portion of the monorail, which you can reach by grappling onto a destroyed pipe.

Carcadia Burn Safehouse #3: Wildhorn’s Beard

  • Sub-zone: Ruined Sumplands
  • Location: Explore the northern part of this region until you see a landmass that’s jutting out. Make your way there and head to the top of the rock formation that’s been turned into a Kratch nest. Take the datapad from the boat and bring it all the way to the terminal.

Dominion map: Safehouse locations

Dominion is the capital city of Kairos. It also has some Safehouse locations for you to claim. You’ll actually stumble upon most of these while progressing through the later stages of the campaign.

Dominion Safehouse #1: The Lockaway

  • Sub-zone: Carcadia District
  • Location: You can’t miss this particular Safehouse in Borderlands 4. You’re told to go to this location as part of a main quest.

Dominion Safehouse #2: The Food Court

  • Sub-zone: Terminus District
  • Location: You’ll pass by the Food Court area while tackling the main quest. The datapad is on a trash pile in front of the establishment. However, the terminal is smack dab in the middle of the square, where a firefight has erupted between the Order and the Rippers.

Dominion Safehouse #3: Sumpview Falls

  • Sub-zone: Fades District
  • Location: This location is also being guarded by numerous enemies. Try to take them out from afar. Then, pick up the datapad from a small nook near the terminal.

That does it for our guide on where to find all Safehouses in Borderlands 4. If you need additional means of transport and traversal, you can go ahead and activate the Order Silos.

From exploring vast frontiers to watching legendary loot rain down on you, there’s a lot to keep you engaged as you continue your adventures as a Vault Hunter. If you need more help, you can always visit our Borderlands 4 guides hub.
