Selling over 1.6 million copies of the series, A Wild Last Boss Appeared! receives its first video game adaptation, A Wild Last Boss Appeared! ~Black-Winged Survivor~, launching on the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5, with the Steam version following suit on October 6. Entering the dark fantasy isekai world, the title features fast-paced arena shooter gameplay, Active Skills for each character to wield, and an original storyline and side scenarios to expand the isekai world.

For those wondering about the novel and newest anime adaptation, A Wild Last Boss Appeared! follows the story of a man waking up in the body of a female Exgate video game character, Lufas Maphaahl, the black-winged overlord and leader of the Twelve Stars of Heaven, that has been defeated by seven heroes 200 years ago. However, Exgate has changed from what he remembered, as humans no longer rule the world, and it isn’t just a game anymore, as characters can now think, feel, and live just like he does. In the body as Lufas, she must now journey through the game and seek the long-disbanded Twelve Stars of Heaven.

A Wild Last Boss Appeared! ~Black-Winged Survivor~ tells an original story about Lufas and her companion detouring from Blutgang to the mysterious Mystletine Tower in the peaceful town of Mimir. As they enter the tower, Lufas and her party encounter Maia, but their levels are forcibly decreased. Curious about Maia’s true identity and her true motive, Lufas challenges the tower.

Alongside an original story,  A Wild Last Boss Appeared! ~Black-Winged Survivor~ features new characters, sub-scenarios for each character, and a special graphic. However, to help newcomers learn about the characters, world, and story, the game will feature a “Previously on…” prologue and an in-game Guide Office.
