
Pokémon Pokopia seems to have been in development for several years now. A prototype of the Switch 2 exclusive scheduled for 2026 has leaked.
This clips shows a version from 2019. At the time, Pokémon Pokopia went for a very different visual style, closer to Stardew Valley than that of Minecraft. Back then, the game was planned for Switch 1.
CentroLeak also reports that the complete Unity source code has been recovered, and that the prototype is complete. This video shows how Pokémon had to be assigned to different tasks, such as building or harvesting resources.
