On May 20, Warhorse Studios announced that it was working on a Lord of the Rings RPG and a new Kingdom Come adventure. This second project could very well be released relatively soon.
While we had to wait seven long years between the first two installments, the next Kingdom Come game is expected during the studio’s next fiscal year. This means it should be released between April 1, 2027, and March 31, 2028. This comes from Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, Warhorse’s communications director.
“If everything goes right, it will comes next fiscal year. That means you won’t have to wait seven years for another Kingdom Come. That’s a good thing!”
Concerned, some fans have asked the developers not to rush into releasing a new installment so quickly. However, we don’t know when development began or whether this will be a true third installment or a slightly less ambitious spin-off.
